Dunoon Online: Mission Statement

Dunoon Online is an independent local news service for Dunoon and the Cowal Peninsula. We report fairly and factually, without bias, and we serve our community.

  1. Independent and unbiased. We report and check the facts.
  2. Local first.
  3. No advertising, ever.
  4. No payments, ever.
  5. Volunteer driven. We are volunteer driven, and use AI where and when appropriate. See our AI disclosure policy.
  6. Technology and remote working. We show that Dunoon can be a base for technology and remote working. National and international reporters are welcome to contribute, collaborate and engage.
